Baker Street
Band Member Bios
As of October 2007
The main guys
Jim Jensen on Guitar, Keyboards, Lead and Backing Vocals – Jimmy’s wide range of musical experience coupled with a charming demeanor make him fun to be around. When the band had stopped for the night he’s the one most likely to take his acoustic guitar out to one of the tables and lead an impromptu sing-a-long.
Earl Wright on Saxophones, Flute, Keyboards, Guitar, and Vocals – This is our marvelous saxophonist and excellent lead vocalist. He’s quite adept on the keyboards as well as rhythm guitar. He’s played the trombone on a few occasions and will soon be bringing out the violin. This guy is going to need his own road crew.
Brett Baker on Bass Guitar, Lead and Backing Vocals – The band’s namesake. He lays the ground work that these other guys can do what they do best. His basic love of all style’s of music sets the stage so-to-speak for the band’s overall presentation. Baker Street is a versatile variety dance band ready to put the ‘special’ in your occasion.
The bench guys
Dan Santoro on Drums – Dan is the drummer of choice for Baker Street’s wide variety of musical styles. He’s as adept with the pop standards as he is with rock and roll. A percussionist this steady and reliable makes it easy for everybody else. He’s the guy that locks the whole room into the beat.
Richard Martinez on Drums and Percussion – Richard could well be the finest drummer that’s been a part of Baker Street. He is in demand by any number of bands, groups, and other musical organizations. We feel pretty lucky when we can get him on one of our gigs which isn’t very often. It’s another reason we love Dan!
Jim Tomich on Guitar and Vocals – Jim is the no doubt the most accomplished guitarist it’s been our pleasure to know. His accurate renditions of the song’s main lick are quite uncanny. He’s also responsible for the ‘Jim’s Big Surf ‘tribute set. He’ll appear with Baker Street on select and larger venues. Sometimes he drops in.
Julian Bardi on Bass - Julian will come out when we plan on doing the Strolling Tones tribute show. He’s got the Bill Wyman look and sound well in hand.
